No woman should have to compromise her health for her beauty, or her beauty for her health.
That first number is the amount of harmful chemicals that the EU has banned from being used in cosmetics that are produced and sold in their country. The 11 number? That's how many the U.S. has banned, according to the FDA. Yep. E-L-E-V-E-N.
Hundreds of thousands of chemicals are slipped right into our cosmetics that are KNOWN to cause cancer, neurotoxicity, endocrine disruptors, infertility, and more. "Under U.S. law, FDA does not have the authority to require cosmetic manufacturers to submit their safety data to FDA..." That is a direct quote from the FDA.
Waking up to this realization is what made me see that I HAVE to be my own advocate! If my skin was made to be my largest organ, to be one of the greatest defense mechanisms for my health, then I NEED to steward that. That's why I’m so passionate now to share on toxin-free living, because I know I'm not the only one who has come face to face with this reality and realized I had a LOT of shifts that needed to take place in terms of how I take care of the body God has given me.

Why are these significant numbers if you’re a woman?
Well, 168 is the number of synthetic chemicals the average woman applies to her body DAILY (which is around 12 products) Daily friends. That’s a whole lot of toxins in one days time.
Let’s break it down.
Deodorant. Shampoo. Conditioner. Toothpaste. Body wash. Lotion. Body spray. Perfume. Makeup (this one is HUGE). Moisturizer. Sunscreen. A little equals a lot my friends. A whole lot.
Now, 1938.
That’s the last time a regulation/safety act was passed regarding cosmetics and personal care products.
Yikes. A lot has changed since 1938. Yet the regulations still remain the same. This means that there really aren’t any. So all of those products, we apply daily, can be loaded with Carcinogens, parabens, skin irritant’s, known allergens, endocrine disruptor’s to name a few.
This is 2023 friends.
Let’s ditch the toxic body burden. Let’s reduce that number.
Let’s stop putting blind faith in companies like J&J that we’re just sued for millions of dollars after being found guilty that their talc causes cancer. Oh and it’s in their baby powder!! There are products that work. That don’t contain all of these harmful things.
Chemicals linked to cancer have NO place in anyone’s beauty routine, yet cancer-causing chemicals are present in many different brands of cosmetics and personal care products found on store shelves across the United States. Not ONLY carcinogens (cancer causing chemicals) are found in standard cosmetics... but also chemicals linked to infertility, organ system toxicity, hormone disruption, and neurotoxicity.
The federal laws regulating cosmetic safety haven’t been updated in over 80 years.
The FDA has no authority on the safety over the cosmetic and personal care industry. Unfortunately, MANY companies out there are using misleading marketing techniques and promoting the safety of a product that simply isn’t safe.
Now for the most powerful truth bomb of all:
YOU deserve better.
Your HEALTH is worth it.
Making these changes impacts generations.
There ARE safe options.
I’m here to help.
If you’re ready to detox your makeup bag and feel GOOD about what’s being applied to your bodies largest organ day in and day out... you just say the word and I’ll point you in the right direction, my friend!
