There's always, always something to be thankful for.

I can't believe Thanksgiving is this week! Holy cow, how'd that happen? Wasn't I just handing out candy?  I love this time of year! Yes, there is always something to be thankful for, but this time of year has a way of slowing me down a bit and reflecting on all that I do have.  It also brings family and friends together and people tend to start clocking out at work even though they are there physically.  The normal hustle and bustle starts to get knocked down a couple of notches.  Even when you go into public places there is that energy in the air that I can't really put into words....I just feel it.  People seem more patient and compassionate.  I really wish I would feel this type of jolliness all year round.

Then there are all the fun things that only come out this time of year.  Everything from fun gadget type stuff, to unique gifts, to scrumptious treats like apple pie ice cream or my all time favorite.... white chocolate candy cane Hershey Kisses that you can only get this time of year......(stock up!)

Not to mention all the delicious aromas everywhere.  I guess if you don't like cinnamon you probably hate it, LOL  - every store seems to have those cinnamon smelling brooms.... but there are other great aromas too..... my favorite this year is dōTERRA's Holiday Joy.  It is YUMMY!  It is a blend of traditional holiday scents of Wild Orange, nutmeg, pine, Cassia, Cinnamon Bark, and is just delightful! :) I have it going in my difusser as I type.

I am so thankful for so many things.... it has really been fun to post one thing each day on Facebook that I am thankful for.  When you have a bad day, which I typically seem to on Mondays, try to stop for a moment and think of something you are thankful for. It doesn't have to be something serious or can be something small like warm socks on a cold day.... but it really does help to put things into perspective and a smile on your face.

As I sign off from typing this blog, I am thankful for you, even if we have not met (yet). I hope you and yours have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving holiday no matter where or with whom you spend it..... just remember, there is always, always something to be thankful for.
